Digby, NS, also on the Bay of Fundy, famous for the delicious scallops harvested from local waters, offers spectacular vistas of the Annapolis Basin and the incredible tides (28 to 35 ft.) in its harbor. Next, visit Lunenburg, NS, one of Nova Scotia’s more historic and appealing villages, home to the world-class Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic and a replica of the Bluenose, Canada’s most recognized ship. On Cape Breton Island visit the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site where you can step back in time and observe everyday life from centuries past.
